Holly Johnson, born as William Johnson (born February 9, 1960 in Liverpool) is a British singer, songwriter and painter.
Johnson was in the late 1970s, a member of the British punk band Big In Japan. He is best known as singer of the Pop group Frankie Goes to Hollywood. In 1987 he left the group because he disagrees with the musical development was. Holly Johnson and his bandmate Paul Rutherford came out after the separation of the band as a homosexual.
