Later the track was very muddy and after a rough carelessness Michael landed in the ditch. As it turned out to be here Schlatwerk bent, so that was a 20 minute repair. In that time, Volker and Michael overtaken by many teams that had been identified in advance as an opponent.

The following catch-up cost a lot of energy, and Michael noticed that the most difficult downhill passage began. Exactly at the most difficult place, where the cameraman was struck Michael very telegenic over the handlebars. Here, however, caused only minor bruises and abrasions.
For RSF, there was little to report I spectacular - after 4:22:46 (101) reached to the target.

RSF Team II took 4:42:40 for the same distance. (135).
