UPDATE ON PEOPLE "ACCIDENT" AT TRIHILL
Today came a mail from the good people, in which it is clear to the boys approached the 4h CC race.
To all
the little boy, I've knocked down'm fine.
I then but the piece of paper with the number displayed by the organizers.
The little boy is probably right after the hospital visit and returned to Trihill continued watching.
Just tell again to all who have noticed the incident.
Thanks and Guud
Volker
In this context, we have also learned that the fallen four cross, which was picked up at the Parallelveranstlatung by helicopter after a fall, again without serious injury is back on his feet.
Thus, the balance remains of an injured CC racer with a shoulder injury. At these here to go once again the best wishes.

Schwalbe - Ride the Hill 2007 - Lindlar
Better late than never - here's the report on the four-hour race on the CC Leppedeponie, Lindlar.
hosted the event in the FOT, who called during the audit for a new approach using the event to life.
With the end of the landfill in 2010, the site is not closed, but parts of the landfill of the population be made accessible again. With Trihill there is the possibility that landfill with offers of leisure and recreation refocus. Sports activities have a special appeal because they are inspired by the already existing topography of the landfill. At the landfill has hilly terrain and a steep gradient are present as a prerequisite for many sports.
why have so far been selected minority sports, which have a very high space requirements and who have not yet been able to establish that strong. The three pillars of Trihill are the cross country and downhill mountain biking and cross golf.
On 18 August it was so far. 13 teams reported 1-4 riders set out on the 3.2 km long CC distance, all the bot:
stiff climbs, fast straights and technically difficult runs. The latter was particularly interesting because it is in large part to the downhill route last year acted, had designed a certain Markus Klaus Mann .
same fall potential was there and was gnutzt sadly, one or the other driver. Fortunately, the injury was limited, although a fellow was transported to hospital with severe pain. make
that representatives with 3 teams bao victory under would was almost as clear as the fact that we would have a say in the fight for a place not a word.
In Cast Volker, Mark, Stephen and Michael So, the team cycling nail alias RSF upper mountain was at the start. Volker, who played the next morning and start driver Leverkusen Triathlon was previously made clear that he, as the organization of bias would see. This plan failed after the first round - when you're hot, then you can not slow, right? ;-)
Volker was unfortunately the one that on the fast asphalt just after the start and end at a speed beyond the 30km / h, crossed over the line running child. Whether a Strckenposten or their parents could not watch after the event is no longer understand. Unfortunately bisheute also not clear how exactly is it the child. Just this: It was brought to consciousness and was just in case the Gummersbach hospital. At this point a speedy recovery from all RSF'lern.
Stephan was also rooted in "only" reported part-time as it was intended primarily for service to our Race sponsor . However, since George had canceled the day before the event, we were happy that Stephan wanted to temporarily stand in for him. This circumstance was for the overall result more than crucial. In this respect: Thank you both!
Stephan's "part time" presented in the results represent a real application, as Stephen went 10 of 29 laps - and not enough at times to the rest of the team could.
Mark and Michael wanted to go to start 2 rounds per turn after about 1 hour to put on a 1st-round strategy, since the increase was very tedious and time of the second round well behind those of the respective first layers.
ended after 4 hours and 02 minutes as Stephen circuit racer for the team and secured with two quick end to the males on the fourth time the retracted Place in the overall standings.
Our sponsor was following very satisfied with the result and donated "their" drivers still delicious ice cream. The truck showed that in the last hour of record sales.
Overall we had a lot of fun at the event. Too bad that in the run partly negative publicity (including local Internet forums) was that prevented a larger number of participants. Weitehin I missed some Oberbergische mountain biking clubs - would be a nice opportunity to have been the spread of our sport on the local political elite to show!
suggestions for organizational improvement:
A Separate results for team size and gender may also very useful. (Great deal of respect for the two individual drivers and the only woman!)
would also explains a bit more enthusiasm in the "Host" also effective for the audience.
hopefully we drive and the other Oberbergisches cycling clubs in the coming year, the opportunity again this race. That would be an asset to the MTB Riding in upper mountain.
Here are the rankings:
1 - Team bao1 32 laps - 04:00:28
2 - Team BaO2 32 laps - 04:02:55
3 - fat burner team wins 31 round - 04:03:17

Mountain Bike Challenge in Poland - Day 6
Finally it was the last day of the Mountain Bike Challenge began. To the enormous aching limbs had almost become accustomed. At least have the energy reserves with a double dinner (just like every night) recharged. Less the sporting energy budget, but the more the motivation aspect was the excellent Wiener Schnitzel in the Czech Accommodation beneficial.
Even the walkout was the four Oberbergern difficult. They said so again, "you torture" and spent the last 75 km and a height of 2,000 meters. Like every morning at 9 clock were both RSF team at the start of the day. Item 10 clock was then the start and it went from starting block 3 on the first few miles back uphill route. The two teams were beginning to RSF in a sporty pace close to each other. After prolonged fast forest roads through the Czech forests it came to the first downhill, which required for the high density field quite a bit maneuver skills. Here Mark had a team from the foot of the trail, then an Italian sports colleagues, the unsafe driving style shone through his escape. Off the racing line, he was then a very high sales hit and went down. The Italians had taken but not much better and went along with some other bikers and also to the ground.
went without any significant wear of the race but continued directly into a steep Beraufpassage, the equalized the field considerably. Followed by a seemingly endless end, technically demanding trial along the Polish-Czech border was hardly any change in placement. Only after some difficult passages, Downhill Team 1 could back a little of 2 RSF team to settle. Fast forest roads helped to a relatively uniform race with a high average speed, if this was possible after 5 stages. RSF Both teams were able to complete the remaining stage without any significant incidents. Even the part thereof under Michael held in conjunction with the provisionally attached cable ties. Also Volkers Scar and tires held out. could
After the field had sorted according to the performance classes and we met again the day before, both well-known teams in the RSF team to make some good pitches. On the last two climbs, it was still a team together with a strong international team overtake even the leading Damenduo. In a furious final sprint won two more seats are well made, although probably no more effect had on the overall placement.
Team 2 was able to make over the last mile asphalt departure also a few places by clever drafting ride and good Übesetzungsverhältnisse. This showed again that even a little bit of this tactic is successful.
Finally, both teams ended with no injuries and very happy the Mountain Challenge adventure through Poland and the Czech Republic. Now the final Piwo (beer) and the sausage was deserved. For the last time it was still pitching for the bikewash.
Since the last destination Kudowa but a few miles from the original start in Duszniki away and there was also the last night was booked, turned still the question of how the last few miles were overcome. From friendly source it was called then, it had to be covered for 5 km downhill. The 4 RSF'ler then decided the route to the "roll-out to take advantage. The task turned out to be a 17 km long and blessed with many meters out EU-funded mountain road that not just was time for relief.
Along the way you came then to a group of Belgian bikers with the same goal. Since these were isolated by their own support vehicle traffic from the rest decided to go along the uphill RSF'ler the high speed and then all reached soon completely exhausted, the last overnight stop. Now the wheels were able to such leave shall be final. The material had rendered satisfactory service in this high stress. Many of the participants did not fare so well. So many total failures (frame breaks, etc.) were recorded. And physical failures forced many teams to the task. Ca. 50 of the 200 competing teams could not finish the bike challenge. Fortunately, one of the first steps on the difficult toppled Polish driver was on his feet again. The greatly swollen and patched-face spoke volumes.
In summary, it can be said that this was for the two teams in the RSF a borderline experience in wide variety of ways. However, it has no regrets on this adventure have experienced and been through too. Now you can return to the competitive challenges of the current season pay in local clubs.
The RSF also thanked Chief Mining expressly for its support of the participating sponsors. Power companies including in particular the Foot, Feet Control, the company Schwalbe, cycling and nail Diviice.
A special thanks also to our unplanned Managers and good soul of the team of mountain bike and RSF attack above the upper mountain, most youth.

The stage started directly with a long climb, which directly the last remaining reserves of power consumes. This section of Team 1 was able to sell even a small piece of the team-mates, but remained within sight. After a minute straight passage, however, began the curse of the stage. The more familiar from the start of the tour asphalt roads had disappeared altogether. Now it was said that it is in the wheel and take up the mountains. Impassable uphills expressed strongly to the mood of the RSF'ler. In the hope of relaxing pieces the downhill bike but gave way to their fate. Here, the bikers had been missing, however difficult. It was in extremely narrow and steep downhill sections. Here also no brakes helped more. Traction was almost no longer exists. More forced other bikers and even the ground below the RSF team to relegation from the bike. The initial phase of the race team was able to use a get a good lead over Team 2 out down. Man käpfte again with the known from the Voretappen opponents and struck by the extremely difficult stage. Since no good average speeds were to be expected.
Team 1 went to about 60 km more to a team of fellow bikers from the TV Hülsenbusch (bike mountain top attack) that could make this even at the aid station and overtake. A short time later, but they could prevail again and take out a small distance. The following catch-up cost a lot of energy, and Michael noticed that the most difficult downhill passage began. Exactly at the most difficult place, where the cameraman was struck Michael very telegenic over the handlebars. Here, however, caused only minor bruises and abrasions.
For RSF, there was little to report I spectacular - after 4:22:46 (101) reached to the target.

Mountain Bike Challenge in Poland - Day 3
Day 3: To the individual drivers from the 3rd Section:
Stephan: Fit, as always.
Markus: Heavy legs.
Michael: Heavy legs.
Volker: back problems.
As in the 2 Stage today, both teams went back about 1 hour together, until deposed by RSF RSF 1 second Later RSF met 2 again to Stephen, the aufghalten had a flat tire. This seemed resolved quickly and could start to catch up. A not-so full of tire forced to stop again. Meanwhile, Mark was able to take a breather before it went together after 10 minutes.
Volker and Michael were a little slower on the road. Volker After about 15 km from the finish announced yet not too much juice to have in the legs, just a short while later started to chase down more opposing teams. Michael was a bit puzzled, and the two could still make up some places.
also a team could really turn up again towards the end. The last energy reserves could Markus and Stephen use to make up some places in the race on the forest highway. Finally, the two were, however, the opponent in sight.
A hairpin Markus was about one kilometer from the finish undoing. His front wheel slipped on wet rocks at a speed of 20 away to the outside. And so Mark was in the next moment with a few bruises on the left in the dirt.
Even Michael had this hairpin his problems. You had to slow down by about 40-50 km / h to nearly 0. Michael managed this is likewise not entirely an alternative route had to look straight ahead. Volker focused on today's stage to be more physical defects and had to be so well about a kilometer from the finish abrupt halt to a take-off to escape into the ditch. This action was nerve-racking for Michael because it stuck to Volker's rear wheel.
Are Now, after three stages in all RSF'lern noted fortunately no significant injuries or material damage. The hardships of the past days and fatigue create the need for an early bed rest and extensive personal care. The two team could now look forward to the last night in one of the "best" houses in the city (1 star for Polish National category). After stage 4, it goes into the dormitories.

Mountain Bike Challenge in Poland - the first two stages
are are the first two stages of the Far RSF'ler Poland now overcome. Here is the first report:
Day 1: made after a 10 hour drive in our team car on Polish moguls and the first night, two teams of RSF ready to start the first of 6 stages of the Mountain Bike Challenge in Poland and the Czech Republic . Initially, but first a few formalities. Through the border crossings in the morning we had initially auditioned for passport control at the local border guards. After this was completed, it went after plenty of magnesium-rich foods in the starting lineup. As newcomers stay, unfortunately, only the third Starting block. This gave us the opportunity, however, the field auzuräumen from behind. After a short adjustment period and a lot of wrangling at the start, we went even to the first mountain passage that RSF was able to use a mountain top to a little break away from the companion. The road surface easily seduced at an inflated rate, which retaliated after the first 60 km. Mark and Michael had to do with the first seizures and both teams lost valuable time. With much force could still overcome the 80 km and a height of 2,000 meters to be completed in good time. Team 1 is presented in order for the 80th Place and Team 2 for the 121st

Day 2: heavy legs and sore body parts make the climb to the new bike a real overcome . Nevertheless, brandishing all 4 RSF bikers on the bike again to look for an even more challenging stage in their eyes. 70 km with 2200 meters were scheduled for that day. It had to be overcome while only two mountains, but it had in itself. Both times had to be overcome more than 700 vertical meters, which led to endless permanent increases. RSF-kilometer 40 to both teams stayed close together, as the strains from the previous day had to digest for now. With this moderate pace was then a team in a position to gradually be discontinued on the second mountain. Here it was called but then again my teeth to bite, but eventually it ran until the end but rather round. A heavy fall on the last run was, however, the two bikers occasion of the first team out and take a kick to be careful. Covered in blood was one of the Kontrhenten motionless and unconscious on the floor. Recovery position and initial rescue operations were initiated. Hopefully it's the poor guy already feeling better.

are are the first two stages of the Far RSF'ler Poland now overcome.
Above Or Below Knee Length
Ruhr Bike Festival 2007
in time by 14 clock has started the marathon this year's Bike Festival Ruhr in Wetter an der Ruhr. Torsten, who represented the RSF that day due to the upcoming MTB Challenge in Poland alone, started "assault towers" with his Vitalij supporters - of his first marathon went - from the back rows.
was planned as the Kellerwald marathon to start slowly and then do well the first places to be able to pitch. But this plan did not, for even the smallest gradients were already at the start of the race is very narrow, there was a wait, as many bikers said they would push. To drive past there was no chance. Accordingly, further irritated it went well for Tom, until the knee went for a few kilometers of easy problems. For about two miles he had to take out some pace, it was normal to go further. The technically and physically demanding track demanded a lot from the bikers, for there was the high number of trails only a few sections where you could let loose roll. Just before the second aid station at 32 km Torsten and Vitalij drove back a bit in common, but the big rush to the aid station we lost again.
fresh strengthened Torsten could use its conditional benefits, because shortly before the end it went to 2.5 km about 200hm at a time up the hill. Here and on the following remaining pitches he could make up some places. After 03:28 hours Torsten reached the target and thus the 48th Place in class "license Men / Senior I" and the 496th in the Overall rank. Vitaly came to 3:34 in the target and thus as 521st in the overall standings.

Swollen Finger After Hitting Someone
Volcano Bike bulkheads, or "That was not a child licking"
Actually, we wanted to fifth after Scots, but suddenly there were Markus and Micha alone, facing the volcano should.
arrived early enough to the two. After they had parked the car almost on the grid, the first surprise came when Abholhen the starting materials: Micah met his old kindergarten teacher! Astonishing was that she recognized him immediately - after 29 years!
The subsequent visit to the ladies' room is just as noteworthy as one of the many slips of the tongue of the speaker: The A description of what challenges await the drivers who came to observe that the departure from Bilstein, "no children licking" is. Sufficiently amused Mark and Micah went to warm up.
But to the point: Just in time by 10 clock started the long-distance runners in the 90km round. The first mountain means directly 500HM in a row, first on asphalt and then narrow partly rooted partly dusty trails.
After 200hm noted Micah, that on his back wheel was something wrong. He had to be drawn and Markus repair blocking his rear brake. This should not be the last time. He found a group to which he could attach themselves. By the second climb we stayed together and made good speed. Before departure blocked Michelle's brakes again, this time on the brakes with a deafening noise. The brake could be solved only by dissolving the quick release and the wheel wobbled. This procedure he repeated about 10 times and that all the 500m - the decision was taken to task.
Ca. 3km before the IEL was overtaken by Micha Michael Hilger of the top mountain bike attack, which was out on the short route. The picture changed again when the bao'ler was about 1km later with a flat tire off the track. Believing that he had everything under control, drove on Micah. The goal took it for some time, it was announced until the number 311 "on foot". Michael Hilger had managed to get his CO2 cartridge exploded in the open air and not in the tire. ;-)
After Mark graduated from the first round in good time, he made the second to make it stronger. After a total of 4:45, he reached sufficiently completed the goal.
round was as always a very successful event. The track is very varied, only the heat and the dust they have made a great challenge for all drivers.
In back next year we'll be back - but this time more than two RSF'lern.

Large Snot Out Oy Nose
Superbike Sorpetal in Sunderland Hagen
rapid succession goes on: The Super Bike Sorpetal on the Sauerland region was Sunderland last Saturday on the plan.
The RSF traveled this time decimated at this event. With Dirk, Georg, Markus and Micha-bao of the RSF'ler superiority of 11 drivers were very inferior.
In very dusty Weather started the four-round with about 55km to the 1200hm. Since all are in possession of a cycling license, they had the good fortune to go before the big peloton of about 1,000 participants in the very slow lap by Sunderland City. Although it was pointed out, not (!) To overtake, but there was always "victory aspirants" who could not wait and thus ensured a good turn in the otherwise smooth-running field.
The track had except the last increase is not really much to offer - three single-track trails that were a little steep do not have traveled from the Oberbergern into trouble.
All Klamotte was done after 2:30 and you could feast on the free distribution of malt.

Stephan attended the Sunday at Lake Garda Ronda Extrema up. With the announced 3787hm should be no sugar slags. First reaction was that long waiting times, both uphill and downhill are created - no wonder, with 2500 participants.
Ultimately led the tour record that Stephan has come to hm 06:13:25 "only" about 3300th
As a result, he had but sufficient enough of cycling and currently spends his well-deserved holiday in Torbole sul Garda.

RSF Blog Online
middle of the night broke 6 RSF'ler and two companions after Gilserberg National Park on cellar-Edersee.
Stephan, George and Mark have already had to go on the clock at 09:00 80km lap.
waited an hour later, the "initial round" about 40km to Volker, Torsten (the debutant) and Micah.
All RSF'ler had up to that time relatively few MTB collected kilometers. In the very dry conditions and not technically demanding circuit but all had to move the chain to the right.
Except for the poor Torsten finished all the races with good results (see below). Tom, who had been sitting for several knee injuries (fractured kneecap) and two survived bronchitis diseases until mid-March for the first time on the bike started himself a plate, which he unfortunately could not fix quickly.
The stop ultimately cost him nearly 20 minutes.
goes in the coming week for Mark, George, Michael and Dirk to Sunderland. The four of them will contest the Superbike Sorpetal.
80km results:
Stephan Georg 4:06:39 3:32:46
Markus 04:13:00
results 40km:
Volker 01:52:00
